The stereo shop plundered of tens of thousands of dollars worth of electronics. Detectives say whoever did it had a particular method of breaking in.
At Stereo Plus One on Blountstown Highway at Tennessee Street, it had barely been open a week back in February when someone ripped off more than $22,000 worth of car stereos, DVD players, TV monitors, amps and speakers. A new business, its inventory virtually wiped out.
It happened between February 11 and 19.
How did the thief or thieves get in?
Cathy Gardner with Crime Stoppers says, "The method that was used was quite unique. We're not disclosing at this time. If you know someone that's been trying to sell this equipment, we are looking for someone. We have no suspects at this time."
