UPDATE - June 10, 2012
Hilda Hutto Smith, who was reported missing on 06/08/12, returned home on her own means in the early morning hours on 06/10/12. She was reported to be in good condition. Jackson County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the community and all others who assisted with the search.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is currently working a case of a missing elderly female.
Hilda Hutto Smith dob 08/02/41, was reported missing by her husband on 06/08/12 at 10:20 p.m. She was last seen around 9:00 p.m. at her residence 2385 Highway 73S wearing blue jeans and a blue jacket. She is described as a w/f, height 5’3, weight 130lbs, blue eyes, and strawberry blond hair cut in a bob style. She is believed to have left residence on foot and suffers from dementia.
