The Associated Press reports bankrupt supermarket giant Winn-Dixie will be closing 35 percent of its stores and reducing its workforce by 28 percent.
The closings are part of the Jacksonville-based company's bankruptcy.
The company says it will shut down one third of its 913 stores. It also plans to trim 22,000 positions.
