Early Saturday morning a traffic accident claimed the life of one and sent two to the hospital.
The Florida Highway Patrol says it happened on U.S. Highway 90 at the intersection of Barineau Road a little after 2 a.m. Saturday morning.
Troopers say 21-year-old Christopher Corchado was driving the wrong way on Highway 90 when he struck a car head-on.
"We believe that it's alcohol related. If it is, if somebody's intoxicated, then the appropriate charges will be filed," added SGT William Griesbaum.
The driver of the second vehicle, 43-year-old Alindthia Harris, did not survive the accident. Her passenger, 42-year-old Gregory Richardson, was taken to Tallahassee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
