Officials in Fort Myers arrested one of two parents they say abducted their week-old baby from his maternal grandmother.
Lee County sheriff's deputies arrested Jessie Threatts, but found no trace of his son, also named Jessie, or the boy's mother, Sabrina Cobbs. The baby was taken Wednesday.
Officials say Threatts and Cobbs both have extensive criminal histories, which is why their son was taken from their custody.
Cobbs is 34 years old and described as a black female, 5'2” and 105 pounds.
Jesse Threatts, Jr. was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, a diaper and booties. The couple had been traveling in a light blue Lincoln, which Threat was driving when he was arrested.
