Stabbing Suspect Sought

Police are busy searching for a suspect in an overnight stabbing that sent one man to the hospital.

Authorities say it happened at Mount Zion's Calypso Cafe in Tallahassee around 3 a.m. this Sunday morning.

Witnesses say the victim, Kavlin Green, left the club after getting into an argument with another man at the club. Investigators say Green was then approached in the parking lot where he was hit from behind.

"Some point during the fight the victim was stabbed with some sort of object in his left buttock, left thigh, and also received injuries to his forehead and left arm," said LT Brian Donaldson with the Tallahassee Police Department.

Green was treated and released and is expected to make a full recovery.

The suspect is described as a black male weighing approximately 200 to 230 pounds and he has dreadlocks.

TPD is asking anyone with information about the stabbing to please call them at 850-891-4200.
