Community leaders and members of Crawfordville will gather Saturday morning for the Cheryl Dunlap Dedication and Living Memorial.
46-year-old Dunlap was found dead December 15, 2007 in the Apalachicola National Forest.
The public is invited to join her family in remembering the slain mother and grandmother.
Crawordville resident Betty Barnes said, "I think it's a really nice symbol. Hopefully at things like that will bring closure to their family because if anybody needs it, they do because this was so trying."
The dedication is Saturday, April 12th held at Hudson Park off Highway 319 in Dunlap's hometown of Crawfordville at 11:00 a.m.
