Two disasters in less than a month have volunteers working non-stop to meet the needs of hurricane victims.

Still helping Katrina storm survivors recover, the first wave of Rita victims arrive in the capital city.

Red Cross officials say they need more volunteers to lend a hand.

Jessica Norris says, "Need people willing to be deployed to us and do day to day operation; need [to] continue to grow."

Norris says disaster relief doesn't end with hurricane season. She expects this recovery effort to last for some time.
