An attempted armed robbery at a Thomasville convenience store has police searching for two men.

Police say the owner of the Flash-N-Pack on the corner of Fern and Magnolia and his daughter were leaving their business Wednesday night when two men came from behind a dumpster and attempted to rob them.

Police add the armed men fired two shots and fled.

SGT Melvin Johnson of the Thomasville Police Department says, "We are telling the public if they come across or know who these subjects are, these subjects are armed and they are dangerous."

Police say they are looking for two black males in their 20s about six feet tall. They ask anyone with information to call the Thomasville Police Department at 229-227-3302.
