Angry parents and concerned citizens showed up at Monday night's school board meeting.
Sacs sent a special team to review the board and investigate complaints against it.
The team found that the board was not in compliance with Sacs’ standards, and parents are livid.
Evelynn Hill, a concerned citizen, said, "If we're going to have changes made we need a new chairman and possibly a new board. To the board members, if you wanna keep your seats, you oughta move the chairman, but if you're not willing to move the chairman, I'm willing to take a seat."
Board members did not respond to any comments made by the public. Sacs’ review team will revisit Lanier County in April to assess the board’s progress.
