In the wake of recent criminal activity on the campus of Florida State University, officials with the campus police department have issued a crime warning.
The bulletin was sent to students via e-mail and details recent crimes on campus, along with suspect descriptions.
Over the past week there has been a shooting and a number of robberies at two separate campus housing complex.
In addition to the bulletins, students can expect to see increased patrol.
"An increase in officers doesn't mean that something necessarily bad is going to happen; it just means that we are concerned about them and very often they know the officers by name, so it shouldn't be a big shock to see some officers in the area that are just concerned about their safety,” says FSU LT James Russell.
Students with any information on the campus robberies over the weekend can call Crime Stoppers at 850-891-HELP or 891-4357.
