John Rozofsky is a senior at Lincoln High School. Though John has been driven to school in the past, this year he has resorted to other measures of transportation.
High school students like John have taken on similar means to get where they need to go. Some even sacrifice their off-campus lunch privileges to save up those gas miles. Others are just trying to conserve.
Prices might be a little more of a concern for the parents who are paying for their child's gas.
"My parents have been urging me because of the rising gas prices to find alternative means to get to school"
These alternative means could lead to an increasing number of students walking and riding the bus. Otherwise, teens will have to start saving up.
One final note: many teens have started carpools to and from school to save on gas.
