Tallahassee and Leon County commissioners will consider an agreement next week that will bring a Canadian company to Leon County, a deal known as "project north."
Brad Day with the Economic and Development Council says if and when the deal is complete, the company, Danfoss Turbocor, will build its headquarters in Tallahassee's Innovation Park.
Day tells us Turbocor would create more than 150 jobs in its first three years, with an average salary of about $45,000.
Turbocor makes components for heating and air conditioning units.
