Bond Community Health Care officials are partnering with Vanderbilt University and the International Epidemiology Institute for the health study.
The study will look at risk factors of the disease and how to prevent future generations from inheriting the maladies.
Temple Robinson says, "The goal of this entire study is to find those things that will prevent diseases and cancers and also find a treatment modality, so actually what were doing, we’re in the data collection part of it and this date will be banked for years at the NIH."
Health officials are encouraging local residents to take part in the survey. Study leaders will offer a small stipend to participants.
