They were already on unpaid leave pending an ongoing FDLE investigation for improper conduct. Now there’s a new case.
It revolves around a fight in April at the National Guard Armory. A Tallahassee police report says the three DOC employees got into the scuffle with a former co-worker during a party hosted by the Florida Council on Crime and Delinquency.
LT Edward Smith with the Tallahassee Police Department says, "I don't know the details of why the fight occurred, it was a party at the armory and there were Department of Corrections employees there."
James Anthony Bowen and Richard Allen Frye were booked into the Jackson County Jail Tuesday. Police are still looking for Allen Wayne Clark. All have been charged with felony battery.
