FSU Researchers Develop Cyber Stalking Software

A new tool kit is being developed to help law enforcement. This computer program allows an agent to shadow a victim, take over control, as well as record all communication.

Researchers say cyber stalking is on the rise.

Sudhir Aggarwal, an FSU computer science professor, says, “There are not enough tools to help law enforcement. However, we find attackers are getting more sophisticated and so we're trying to get more sophisticated in how we respond to such attacks.”

This system is still in an experimental stage and needs to be reviewed further before it's used by FDLE or other agencies.
