Pizza Delivery Chain Hit Hard by High Gas Prices

Dominoes’ CEO is saying if the spike in gas prices continues the chain will have to raise prices.

A local Dominoes manager says the company has already helped its drivers who provide their own car, increasing the amount they are paid per delivery.

Dawn Walek, manager, says, "What we've done is up the price of our delivery charge to $1.50 so we could give our drivers more cents mileage wise to reimburse them for the gas they would have to buy."

Dominoes drivers cover close to $9 million miles a week in the U.S. alone.
