VSU Classes for Seniors

By  |

The learning and retirement program helps keep seniors active while they further their knowledge.

The members meet on campus at Valdosta State University.

Seniors can choose from over 70 classes, and the best part is they only pay a one time fee of $45 to join the program.

"Some of them feel like they're left out with all the new technology. Their kids are doing e-mail and Internet. They feel like, what's going on? I can't carry on a conversation. So by taking these conversations it makes them feel like they're not left behind in the technology age."

Some of the classes offered are intro to computers, line dancing and creative writing.
