A rather unusual memorial service at Florida State University
First year students of the university's College of Medicine held a memorial service for human cadavers used in class.
Students recited the names of those who donated their bodies to science and lit candles in their memory.
"It's important to us and to our community that people realize the College of Medicine is here and that we are about the people. Not only our patients but the people that help us and the 22 people that donated their body to our college."
This tradition is also held at many other medical schools throughout the country.
