A Church Divided

Father Eric Dudley decided to leave St. John's Episcopal Church and form a new place of worship, St. Peter's Anglican Church.

He was director of St. John's for 10 years but says he could longer support the direction of the Episcopalian church , specifically, the endorsement of homosexuality.

"We believe the Episcopal Church has gotten caught up in a secular culture and we want to remain true to scripture and that's what we're seeking to do. Not meanly not unkindly, just faithfully,” explains Father Dudley.

A business man donated the Old Church of Christ on Thomasville Road to St. Peter's.

They have free use of the building for the next five years until they build a new facility.
