Tallahassee's roadways are a little busier than normal these days because some parents are visiting their children attending Florida State.
The university is hosting its annual parents’ weekend. Students and their parents were out early Saturday morning getting something to eat before heading to Doak Campbell Stadium to watch the Seminoles take on Wake Forest.
Donna Weber, a parent from New York, says, "It's wonderful that they include the parents into their education. I believe that what's lacking in education today is the parents’ involvement."
Stephanie Combs, a freshman, adds, "They just want to see how their kids are doing, how they’re living, what the campus is like, and I think this is a great weekend to do that."
Other events put on for the parents were FSU's Flying High Circus, a pep rally, and a picnic on the Union green.
