Missing Autistic Child Has Been Found
Authorities have found a missing 14-year-old girl.

Police say Amber Altemose has returned home to Live Oak and is safe.

Live Oak Police say Amber Altemose was last seen at home at approximately 8 p.m. Thursday. Amber is a 14-year-old white female, 5'1", 100lbs with blond shoulder length hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a pink/blue shirt, blue Jeans, brown shoes or tennis shoes.

Police say after receiving a telephone call Amber walked out of her residence on Duval Street and has not been seen since. Amber has autism and left without her medication.

Amber could be carrying a black backpack that has white flowers on it. Police say there is no history of running away in this case.
