Rescue crews were spending much of Monday combing the Ochlockonee Bay for Hussein who was last seen around noon on Sunday.
He regularly fishes in the area, but this time decided to go alone.
Much of his family sits beside the bay, refusing to give up hope that he will be found.
Samar Hussein, his daughter, says, "This is our life. This is my father. This is our hopes and dreams. He means the world to us and I don't see life without him."
Crews say they are also hoping for the best.
Hussein's family believes he may have run into engine trouble while on the water. His boat was found Monday morning, his jacket hours later.
