Girl Scouts have cookies, Boy Scouts pitch popcorn, and on Monday those young men got a some hard driving help.
Golfers hit the links at Golden Eagle Monday. It was a chance to raise money for the Suwannee River Area Council of the Boy Scouts and to possibly take home a new Ford Mustang.
Eighteen teams were vying for this prize. All they had to do was drive the little white ball more than 200 yards and make a hole in one.
Needless to say, the car is still safe, but it was a perfect day for golf, and this time the Boy Scouts of the Suwannee River Area Council were the big winners.
