Leon County Schools Superintendent Bill Montford says that the father of the female student notified the Lincoln High School principal that Shedrick Honeycutt had written the inappropriate correspondence.
School officials say Honeycutt started at the beginning of this school year and was training to be an assistant junior varsity baseball coach.
The Leon County Sheriff's Office says they do not expect any criminal charges to be filed in this case.
