One mother's punishment for her daughter's bad behavior in school has peaked nationwide interest.
Fourteen-year-old Coretha Henderson was forced to stand on a busy Oklahoma City street corner holding a sign that read, "I don't do my homework and I act up in school, so my parents are preparing me for my future. Will work for food."
Tasha and Kevin Henderson’s daughter had been tardy to classes and her grades were poor.
The parents said after every other punishment failed, they sent Coretha to the street corner where she stood for one hour.
