The face of classroom instruction is changing before our very eyes. Florida State researchers are testing virtual professors. Not only do they talk, they may even show emotions.

The goal is to see how people identify with technology in social ways. FSU professor Amy Baylor says while even looking at a computer, people respond differently to certain personality types.

The research is still in the testing phase, but is already being incorporated into some of the university's online courses.
