Guilty Verdict in Carjacking Trial

A five-day trial and 90 minutes of deliberations adds up to a guilty verdict for Javiar Brown.

Brown is accused of the armed carjacking of a Papa John’s delivery man. Then, an hour later on that September 2003 night, Brown and an accomplice robbed an FSU freshman at gunpoint and stuffed him into the trunk of his own car.

Police later caught Brown and accomplice Jason Kellom after a high speed chase. Kellom is already serving a 20-year sentence for the crime.
