With nightly temperatures creeping lower and lower, the need for a jacket or sweater climbs that much higher, and at the Thomas County Food Bank and Outreach Center in downtown Thomasville, workers say a donated coat will go a long way.
President of the Outreach Center, Maryline Smith, says, "Anyone that has a gently used coat that they're not using, we would appreciate that also because that's how we're able to operate the coat closet."
Volunteers say the coat closet is open from November through February.
To donate a coat, drop by the Thomas County Food Bank and Outreach Center in Thomasville. The address is 430 North Broad Street.
