‘Tis the season to be giving. Countless Americans have been opening their hearts and wallets to help those in need. This holiday season is no exception.
Salvation Army bell ringers have been at various places in Tallahassee hoping to collect money for the agency to help those in need.
And although the economy is not the best right now, bell ringers say people are still lending a helping hand.
Dennis Oneal, a bell ringer, says, "I've been on the job for four days, and it seems people are really digging deep and donating good, real good."
Salvation Army bell ringers will be collecting donations for hurricane victims and the homeless population.
