The Southeastern Community Blood Center is asking citizens to add one more stop to their to-do list this weekend.
SCBC says the community's blood supply is down to a two-day supply and urges everyone who can to donate blood this weekend.
O positive, O negative and B positive are significantly lower and decreasing by the day.
Carol Daws with the Southeastern Community Blood Center says, "It's traditionally the time of year when that happens, so we're asking donors to come out and give blood. We have four days of no blood drives, no bloodmobiles on the road to collect blood because of businesses being closed for the holiday."
The Tallahassee location will be open Saturday 11/26 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It's located on Riggins Road.
All other branches will reopen first thing Monday morning.
