Tree retailers say the few days after Thanksgiving are usually the busiest days for live tree sales.
The people at Lowe's say they sold over 325 live trees Friday alone. They say Christmas tree sales should remain steady for the next couple of weeks.
Lowe's Department Manager Brian Flynt says, "It generally will slow down just a hair probably about the second or third week in December. Most everybody already has their trees up. A lot of smaller artificial trees sell between that time and the day before Christmas."
Flynt also says most of the seven foot live trees go first, whereas the larger ones sell later in the season.
