An early morning shooting has the Tallahassee Police Department searching for a suspect.
TPD received a call a little after 1:30 Sunday morning about a shooting near the intersections of Webster and Kendell.
Police reports say a group of people were outside when a vehicle drove by and fired several shots, one of those bullets striking a 17-year-old in the groin.
LT Bergstrom with the Tallahassee Police Department released this statement: "This type of incident is unusual for Tallahassee, if you want to call it a drive-by type shooting. We do not get very many of those in town here, so something that's a little bit unusual for us."
LT Bergstrom says there is no suspect at this time, but police are looking for a vehicle, described as a "box style burgundy Chevrolet Caprice."
