Bush Comments on Brogan's Possible Departure

Florida Atlantic University is expected to name its new president Friday, which means Florida could be without its government’s second in command.

Lt. Gov. Frank Brogan is one of two finalists for the top job at FSU.

Brogan’s boss, Jeb Bush, says he hasn’t started looking for a replacement yet, and if he as to, he’s got a plan.

“Thoughtfully deliberately and without urgency. I haven’t given the timing that much thought. I don’t think it’s necessary to rush into it,” comments Gov. Bush.

The Florida Democratic Party is already poised to file a legal challenge if the governor names a replacement.

Democrats say the voters should decide who the next Lt. Gov. will be, not Jeb Bush.
