A man in his 20s is recovering from head injuries after police say he was pistol whipped inside his apartment home. It happened around two Wednesday morning on West Georgia Street.
Tallahassee police say the man was outside walking his dog when he was approached by a gunman.
"He asked for some money; the victim said he didn't have any. He then forced the victim back inside the residence, forced him upstairs to the bedroom still looking for money. He then forced him back downstairs and we believe he was hit with a gun," said SGT Ronda Scott with the Tallahassee Police Department.
The victim's roommate and his girlfriend were home at the time. The suspect is still at large.
