A Tallahassee woman was killed Tuesday in an accident on the city's west side.
It happened at the intersection of West Tennessee and Capital Circle Northwest.
Police say 61-year-old Margaret Foy was headed east on Tennessee Street when her Honda Civic slammed into a city dump truck driven by Walter Cumming.
Authorities say Cumming was headed west on Tennessee and was attempting to make a left turn.
"We believe she was wearing a seat belt. Hopefully, when we do the inspections of the car, we'll be able to actually tell if she was wearing that seat belt at the time of impact," says Tallahassee Police OFC John Newland.
Investigators said the dump truck driver had a green arrow light and the right of way when the accident occurred. It marked the city's 25th traffic fatality this year.
