There was another poker run in the capital city, this one raising money for the Refuge House.
More than 40 bikers bundled up for the cold ride Saturday morning.
The Leon County Sheriff's Office put on the ride and says it takes more than chilly temperatures to stop bikers from raising money for a great organization.
Lonie Seay with LCSO helped organize the event and says, "This is our first year and we're trying to raise money for the Refuge House during the holidays. Of course, we all know the non-profits need the extra help and we're tying to give them that."
LCSO says the goal was to raise $500, and by 9:30 a.m. they had already met their goal.
One hundred percent of the money will go to help the Refuge House.
