There's just a few shopping days left before Christmas Day, and so much to choose from at shops around Tallahassee.
This year, owners of some local businesses say so far they've had a positive response during the holiday shopping season.
"It's been fair, you know, it's getting there. I'm new here, so every year it gets better, so we doing good," says Henn House owner Louise Henn.
The owner of The Bead Shop, Janey Nola, says the holidays have been great for her business.
"It's been wonderful actually. Community support has been wonderful. We have great, consistent customers, customers that are frequent that come in quite often, and we've also had a tremendous amount of new customers," says Nola.
Both the Henn House and The Bead Shop have been open for about a year and a half, and both owners say they expect their Christmas returns to increase each year.
The Museum Shop in Tallahassee has been around for about 15 years, and owner Ken Smith says the holiday business gets better each day.
"We were hoping for a good Christmas, and it's turning out to be that, especially later in the year or later as we get toward Christmas," explains Smith.
Smith also adds he thinks the economy is doing a little better this year than it was last year at this time. All three business owners say they've had a good mix of returning customers and new customers during this holiday season.
