The Capital Area Red Cross has set up an online recovery initiative to help the displaced hurting this holiday season.
They're asking for individuals or organizations to use the Web site to see what goods or services are needed. Red Cross officials say much of the financial assistance for hurricane evacuees has dried up.
Chris Floyd with the Capital Area Red Cross says, "They've been coming forward with the same longer-term needs, they've chosen to stay here in Tallahassee, so there's a need for us to continue to work here in Tallahassee to find individuals who have items and rental properties, maybe even automobiles they can offer to Hurricane Katrina survivors."
