Brent Runyon recently graduated from the University of Georgia with a masters in historic preservation and says he's excited to work with homeowners and businesses.

Runyon says his focus will be educating people on recent developments in historic preservation.

Brent Runyon says, "Buildings are tangible parts of our culture heritage and without those tangible parts it's very hard to remember who we were, where we've been, and if you don't know who you are and where you've been it's hard to make a plan for where to go."

Runyon says Thomasville Landmarks is currently working on a community preservation project as well as reviving a historic district in Boston, Georgia.
