It's not easy to keep yourself healthy, especially if your job keeps you on the road, but licensed massage therapist Kim Ortloff says there are some key things you can do to minimize weight gain and pain.
For example, make sure your hotel has a gym, take time to stretch when flying, and take advantage of rest stops for walks.
And for those tied to a cubicle, Kim Ortloff suggests, "Every 30 minutes get up. Get a drink of water, go say hi to a co-worker, stretch your neck, bring your shoulders back, be aware of your posture, make those corrections."
Ortloff says whether you're on stuck on the road or in the office, the number one health tip is to keep yourself hydrated. She says your body needs you to replenish the two quarts of water it uses everyday to maintain "a healthy you."
