Voyeur Arrested at Library

A man who court records show has spent time in prison for violent crimes has just been arrested for a bizarre one.

It happened at the Leon County Public Library on Park Avenue.

Deputies say a woman came out of the bathroom and said not only was there a man in the women's restroom, but he was using a mirror to peer into her stall.

SGT Chris Chase, LCSO spokesman, says, "If you go in a bathroom and something doesn't feel right or something doesn't look right or things don't add up, take a second to notify management or law enforcement, because this can happen and this could have escalated easily into something that could be far worse."

Forty-three-year-old Matthew Williams was confronted by a Leon County deputy while he was still in the stall. He was arrested and accused of voyeurism and disorderly conduct, both misdemeanors.
