We all know that 9-1-1 is a three digit number that brings help, and 4-1-1 is a source of information.
Starting Tuesday a new three-digit number, 2-1-1, debuts to help with non-emergencies
2-1-1 also provides crisis-counseling issues like drug abuse, domestic abuse, and suicide will be handled by the new line.
2-1-1 connects those in need with vital services. There's a push to make 2-1-1 nationwide. For now, it's up and running for the eight counties of the Florida Big Bend.
