Dozens of residents are expected to protest at a meeting Monday night in Sopchoppy. It's over the denial of beer and wine sales in the downtown area.
The owner of Backwoods Pizza has already shut his doors due to the city's clampdown on alcohol.
Since then letters and pleas have come in by the hundreds asking him to reopen and requesting that the city change its mind, and several businesses say they're seeing sales drop now that fewer people are heading downtown.
The meeting is at the Sopchoppy City Hall at 6:30 p.m. Monday night.
