The numbers are in at Tallahassee Regional Airport. It looks like not as many people are taking to the skies.
The airport is reporting a 25,000 passenger drop from 2004.
In 2005, 1,129,947 people flew through the airport, compared to 2004's 1,155,072.
The assistant superintendent says a lot of that has to do with the rising cost of airline tickets, the departure of AirTran, and is really a reflection on the airline business as a whole which has been unstable in recent years.
There may have been a drop, but 2005's numbers are still an improvement over the years prior to 2004.
