Tallahassee Community College hits a record in student numbers this spring.
Administrators report an enrollment of just over 12,000 students, about 1,000 more than last spring's total.
This is good news for the community college, seeing that FAMU's enrollment is about 13,000.
Officials credit the jump partly to the attractive programs TCC offers.
"A lot of it has to do with the great faculty and the attention our students get in and out of the classroom," says TCC spokeswoman Alice Maxwell.
Communications and humanities experienced the largest growth from last spring, with a seven percent rise in enrollment.
