Chili made in a variety of ways brought hundreds of hungry meat lovers to the annual Marzuq's chili cook-off.
The 51 contestants ranged from a 92-year-old grandmother who slow cooks her chili to law enforcement officers who are veterans in this competition.
"This is our sixth annual event and each year it gets a little bigger and a little better. We have three categories to judge and we give away $3,000 in cash prizes," explains Marzuq Shrine Potentate R.D. White.
Those three categories of competition include individuals, law enforcement and commercial contestants.
Saturday’s judges included WCTV's own Ann Nucatola and John Harrington.
