The community of Havana remembered Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in its own way.
Dozens gathered in the streets Monday to remember the civil rights icon with a parade. This was one of several parades held in Gadsden County to commemorate the life of Dr. King.
Those who attended the celebration say they look forward to it every year and say the parade serves as a reminder to the younger generation of the sacrifice made by those before them.
