Linda Christian takes one last look at her home. She says her landlord told her to pack up and get out.
Christian is one of several residents in a southside Tallahassee neighborhood who received a notice after an inspection by the code inspector. Workers put up signs telling them their homes are unfit to live in.
Tallahassee commissioner Andrew Gillum is talking to residents and trying to find them temporary housing.
Christian said although she's frustrated, she admits, it's a mess and there's no better solution.
Christian was told she had to have her family out in 24 hours. Others have the rest of the weekend.
The Big Bend Homeless Coalition is also trying to find some sort of subsidized housing.
