Gadsden County and city officials from all of the municipalities got together with legislators from their district in hopes of trying to get funding to help the county as a whole.
Education and growth were just a few of the concerns that were addressed at the meeting.
County Commissioner Ed Dixon said, "What we've asked the legislators to do is to help us plan for this growth. We have a moratorium in effect, and what we plan to do is plan for growth in terms of infrastructure, sewage and water."
The first ever legislative delegation also gave residents a chance to voice their concerns about some of the problems plaguing their communities.
